The Funny Face was a clam boat that sunk in 1981. It is lying with it's starboard side buried in the mud. The portside is exposed and in poor condition with most of the railing and decking destroyed. The port side propeller is intact and available, but most other major features are damaged. Many fish congregate at this site. Besides the expected tog, bass, bait fish, sea robins and flounder that are expected on an NJ dive, many tropicals can be seen here in late summer. On a dive there in September 1997, an Atlantic silver eel, several trigger fish and an angelfish were seen here.
